There must be some point at which the universe began, but what happened before that? Was there an infinite series of causes and effects, or an event without a cause, with nothing before it?
One solution is that the first cause was the cause of time. It therefore contained all time within it, and the potential for every event since then. It must have contained all consciousness, and therefore be a conscicous being that exists now and in every moment of time. It is God.
Every event in the world must therefore be in the conscicousness of God, and be an unfolding of the Divine Mind. Every physical thing is a reflection of a Divine Idea, and we can return to the Divine Mind by contemplating it. The ultimate truth can be found within us, because we are spiritual beings. We were created with the spirit within. The ability of women to bring a child out of their bodies must reflect this nature, therefore God is female.

It is an alluringly simple argument but one that fails to consider why there are males and intersex in all species that are sexual. It also fails to take into account parthenogenesis - a trait whereby the female of a given species will physically change sex characteristics due to a lack of males, acquiring the appropriate reproductive organs for the male of the species through this process, and help the population reproduce.
Equally alluring is the argument that all homosapiens (and related homid species past and present) begin as female bodied. This argument is inconclusive because the process of gestational development shows that differentiation of physical sex characteristics is due to the genetic material and those born with a given sex develop the reproductive system as per their genetic code. There is no default to 'female' within the human species, only shared characteristics between the male, female, and intersex that can be said to be human traits.
While it is comforting to think that Dea is female in the sense of what we consider human female, it is hubris to think one can limit the limitless within a single form. Dea shows herself to us as she chooses and in a manner that we may approach the divine with out pure terror. Given the enormous number of religions around the world and the countless ones lost to history, along with the myriad variety of iconography that goes with said religions, it is perhaps wise to argue that Dea is vast and powerful, beyond our ability to fully comprehend, and loving of all. Due to the constraints of our language, we name Dea as female just as many who worship the Christian god as male, as an attempt to comprehend at least part of the prime mover of all existence.
To argue that women are the only ones with the capacity to create life reduces them to brood mares and ignores the plethora of other ways that life is happening around us this very moment. Creative force is not the sole domain of women but of all humanity. With out this capacity, the very means with which we communicate as of this moment would not exist. Indeed, it is arguable that the generative force is present in all of existence (this is the basis of the argument for an immanent deity, Dea within the World). Our separation from the generative force is illusory, which is accounted for within the sacred texts describing the contradictory nature of existence as something fair and also foul at the same time to our eyes when it is something entirely different.
So too is the separation of gender, which is a social construct that is vaguely related to biological sex but not defined by it and understood differently by different cultures. In the end, we are all human. And in the end, Dea is that which Dea is and we only know what is revealed to us.
As to the matter of the beginning of all things, please see my next comment in reply to this thread.

The question of where all things, including time, has its origin troubles philosophers and theologians since antiquity and shall continue to do so until there are no more people to ask these sort of questions. When considering the scriptures, we find the argument that there is a prime mover. The prime mover is Dea who created existence. In that act of creation, time began because there started the chain of causality, as per the scriptures. Dea as the prime mover is a paradox because we are put into the position of questioning what motivated Dea to create existence and how did the materials that existence was created from come to be, if Dea had not created them yet. It is tempting to say that Dea is all knowing. It is equally tempting to say that Dea has limited cognition of the unfurling of the universe. Both positions become problematic when you start considering the question of why evil and misfortune exist. Equally problematic, these positions raise up the questions as to if Dea is truly good and what exactly is the nature of goodness. We have no way of knowing if Dea is all knowing or not. Dea is beyond our capacity to fully know and understand because she is so immense. (My use of gendered language here is based on the fact that Dea has revealed herself to me as female and I respect this revelation. She will show herself as she chooses and I cannot demand others reject the truth she showed them in favor of what I have been taught.) The ultimate truth can be found but it does not lay within us. And if it is found, we are limited in our language to express it and are forced to use what sounds like sheer nonsense to others because of the limits of language. Ultimate truth of existence lies within Dea and that which is revealed in the whole of creation. If we choose to study it, we will learn some of the words of her song but in doing so shall lose our own words for such music. It would be like attempting to describe all of science within a single phrase.

Brythwen,
Madrian philosophy explains why there are two sexes, which is all it has to explain. There is no third sex. Homosexuals are still men, and lesbians are still women.
Madrian arguments ae not based on biology. They do not state that animals evolved to be humans, and, when the human female was attained, the Dea was created from them. The occult principle "As above, so below" does not mean "As below, so above." The Dea is the prinary principle of creation, and the ability of women to give birth reflects this, but the Dea is much more than a woman.
The Madrian papers sent to me say that parthenogenesis is possible for the birth of a Hera, that is, someone who is spiritually perfect, because they have no substantial element in their nature, and therefore do not need a substantial contribution to their birth. I don't know if it's possible in animals. If it occurs, it must be because the female contains the male as a potential.
Your argument about all the world's religions assume that anything is true if it is believed. The problem is that religions contradict each other. The Buddhists say that the gods are not perfect beings. That wraps up Christianity. It also means that Nazism is true, because that was believed by some people. It also means that Chaos Magic is true, which states that nothing is true. It may be possible for the Dea to manifest in a male form, but She would remain a being capable of creating life, so the male manifestation would be a false appearance.
I said that woman are capable of giving birth, but I never said that giving birth was the only thing they are capable of. You seem to be arguing that men are capable of giving birth. I have met this type of argument frequently.
I pointed out the Creation took place beyond space and time and contains all space and time. This makes it the best explanation. If you reject it, you have either to believe in an infinite series of causes, or that time existed before all other existence for an infinite period, and then existence began without a cause. Creation actually exists now, because every moment is an aspect of it. There is no problem of what happened before or why it happened at that moment. It is a state in which we are all in perfect harmony with the Dea. Time began for us when we fell out of that harmony.
If the ultimate truth can be found, it can only be because it is within us. It is within us because we were created as spiritual beings, and we can find it within us. It may seem incomprehensible to us, but, as we make spiritual progress, our ability to comprehend increases, until we have perfect undersrtanding. If we are not spiritual beings, then spiritual development is impossible to us. As we make spiritual progress, the conflicting aspects of our being harmonise, so that opposites become one. We don't lose the words of Her song as we gain knowledge.
May She be with you,
David.
