Glenn, I know a little about Egypt, and Ma'at is a good concept to live by, but the basis of a religion has to be universal. Ma'at is only one aspect of life. The name Inanna means Queen of Heaven. That means everything can be seen as an aspect of Her, so as to combine the unity of monotheism with the diversity of polytheism. Ma'at is an aspect of Inanna.

David thanks for the response. I am aware of course that Maat is only one aspect of Dea. However to think and practice her way through the lens of maat, I think a very different direction emerges than Deanism is taking at this time in its short history.
