After no being active in any writing activities for several months, I spent a solid hour yesterday writing what I felt would be a good post.Today I spent another hour and almost completed it. And then I made a slight wrong move just a few minutes ago with my computer and have lost everything. It is gone. I am so damn mad!!
Why even try!

Glenn,
I understand your frustration. One precaution is not to type long posts directly onto the message board, but to write a text file, and then past it onto the message board, and save frequently.
May She be with you,
David.

David thanks for the response and advice. I actually initiate my writings as drafts for email compositions and then copy and paste them within my blogs or here. The main problem I have with writing texts is that I really do not know how to write text documents. I never learned that skill. But there are other precautions I could take to at least insure that the most I will lose as the result of a misplace key stroke is only the work done that day. That would have been frustrating to lose that work but it would not have been as bad as what did happen. Anyway I have given up on the writing in spite of the fact that I thought it was pretty good. The fact however was that it was fairly biographically dealing with some of the questions I have had regarding religion lately and ways of doing things which I have practiced over the years. But I am just not that interesting a person and I doubt that my religious concerns would be of any interest to others anyway. I will just go on to the next topic that interests me and spare others any additional information about my life.

Glenn, the way to write a text file is to go to your Documents folder, click on Home, then click on New Item. You get a choice of files which you can use including text files.
David.
