Hello: New member here exploring the whole Dea cosmos. I've conversed with several people on Fazebook and elsewhere. I must say, missed this whole spiritual path, never knew it existed until a week ago. I have a lot of reading to do! I'm currently reading Race's ECR. Excellent work, by the way. Appreciate any constructive advice. Have yet to explore all the Yahoo groups as I assumed most were dead in the water. I have the impression there are few, if any, groups who meet on a regular basis. Is that correct?

Hello Rummah,
I have joined a lot of groups in order to post messages of Madrian relevance, and I find that, on most of them, the members no longer post, and I am the only one posting. I time, everybody says what they want to say, and have nothing more to add, so nobody has anything to post.
May She be with you,
David.

While I no longer believe in the Deanic faith certainly as it is practiced and it is envisioned by others, the primary reason I have not posted here in the past three months is simply that my life circumstances no longer leave me with the time to write. Over half of my time now is currently being taken up taking care of a close friend who can no longer stay at home by herself for much of each day. As a result result of physical therapy she is getting better and hopefully she will be able to care for herself perhaps within a month. But who knows.
Ok, as regards to the inactivity of this forum, while David is right in regards to the reason that many groups dry up, I do not believe he is right in this case. The fact is that several Deani do write regularly particularly within what I call the Deanic Tumblrsphere. There are two primary reasons persons do not write here. The first is because forums and email groups as well are not the preferred means of communication for the young people who are attracted to Deanism. They are much more attracted to popular formats such as Tumblr. The second reason is probably I myself. My own interpretations of Deanism with my rejection of Feminine Essentualism and Traditionalism is radically different from their own. So why should they communicate on the forum of some one who rejects their world view?

Sorry to hear that so little is discussed. I'm in communication with a member of the Janite Order, so there is always hope. I must say that Race's ECR is one of the best spiritual texts I've ever encountered.

And I should mention that recent events in the tumblersphere may deal that platform a crushing blow. So, perhaps you'll see people come here in search of Lost Deaism.
