Have you seen yourself in a distorting mirror? Is what you see real or false? In a sense, it's false, and, in a sense, it's real, literally real, and not a metaphor. To appreciate the reality of it, we cannot just react from it and say, "That's true." We have to know that it is a mirror, and reflecting.
That is the way we see the world. It is real, in a sense. We have to know what it is reflecting. All the things in nature are the reflections of an archetype, and all the beauty of nature reflects the Divine gift. All the changes that they undergo are reflections of an archetypal state. The seasons of the year are archetypes. All these things can be meditated on as Divine Principles, and, by this means, we can see beyond the mirror to the reality.
May She be with you, David.
