Dear friends,
The Madrian Festival of Divine Life is celebrated on 17th. Mala, corresponding to 21st. September. It celebrates the essence of life, and is dedicated to the Trinity: the Mother Who is creator of all things; the Daughter, Who, through Her sacrifice, created the material world; and the Dark Mother, Who is the unknowable ground of all being. Shrines are decorated with the fruits of the season, in particular the apple, which represents the golden apples of Avala. Traditional foods are apple, cider and seedcake.
May She be with you,
David.
