Hi guys my name is Maria I was thinking that especially since Filianism gets much of it's beliefs and Doctrine from Shakti Hinduism I would do a thread on this.
Personally besides Deanism I am a devout Shakti Hindu. I was raised Christian and left that madness and eventually converted to Shaktism. Over all much of Shaktism shares the same major views as Deanism/Filianism IE the worship of God the Mother as the Sole Supreme Deity and that all other Deities atleast Good and Rewarding ones are manifestations, avatars, emanations of Her etc. Really the Filianic Trinity is essentially the Tridevi with God the Mother being Saraswati/God the Creator, God the Daughter being Lakshmi God the Preserver/Savior and God the Absolute Deity being Lalita Tripura Sundari aka God the Destroyer. The Chapel of Our Mother God even has a lengthy article on Durga as the Shakti Sai Vikhe which She very much is.
Over all I generally synthesize Shaktism with Deanism/Filianism as well as African faiths I practice like Ifa/Umbanda and Quimbanda. Over all my views are not totally in line with strict Filianism as I do believe in male Deities and see the Trimurti as Consorts of Tridevi but I do see the Trimurti as ultimately subordinate to Tridevi and being creations/emanations of their Wives who serve Tridevi and help them in their work Creating, Sustaining and Destroying evil/ignorance in the universe.
Also in terms of my own sect within Shaktism I consider myself a practitioner of Srikula IE worshiping Sri Lalita Maha Tripura Sundari as the Supreme Deity specifically The Dark Mother/Absolute Deity/Liberator in my faith. I also worship Mahasaraswati as God the Solar Mother and Creator and Mahalakshmi as God the Lunar Daughter and Preserver. I also worship Gayatri Mata as Sai Raya, Durga as Sai Vikhe and Mahakali as Sai Rhave etc
I am interesting are any Deanists/Filianists also Shaktas as well. It seems like that most thought not all Deanists/Filianists use Collyridianism or Mary worship as a way to worship Dea however some also do use forms of Adi Shakti or even Kwan Yin or Tara as representations of Mother God.
