At this point, I think I should explain the Madrian view more clearly. The spirit is the creative principle, and the material world an outer reflection. The creativity of the spirit is reflected in the ability of women to bring forth a child from their bodies, and nourish it from their bodies.
When a woman gives birth, she does not create the child from nothing. The soul is pre-existent. She brings it into incarnation. This requires a physical body, which makes conception an interaction between spirit and matter. It requires the two sexes to create this interaction. There is no duality in the spirit. All duality comes from the material world, and is the result of the interaction between the material world and the spirit.
This is why women reflect the Dea, and the strength of the Dea. The reason why women are weaker is because, when spiritual principles are reflected into the material world, they are subject to the inertia of matter. Strength in the feminine form has a spiritual effect, incuding the influence of fantasy stories.
May She be with you,
David.
