Race, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but, after two visits to Burtonport, I found no leads to the whereabouts of the members of the community, except for the infomration, gained in a telephone call to the Romantians, that the head of the household was somewhere in the North of England.
May She be with you,
DAvid.

In performing a web search for the Book of Rhiannë, I see this work is referenced in a publication of the Fellowship of Isis ( www.fellowshipofisis.com/godthemother.pdf) They also reference the Madrian calendar in their materials. My guess is that they have Madrian materials in their collection, and, as a sympathetic organization, may be willing to assist. Philemon.

Hello Race, I do know that you have to request an article, not the complete periodical, for study purposes. But between us we may be able to obtain most of the Issues 3 and 5.
Hello David, Thank you for your suggestion. I have done that and the resolution is too low to see it clearly. The complete Issues 10 and 14 have not been copied by yourself cover to cover. As I suggested previously: Perhaps photos can be taken at a higher resolution of all the publication. This is a task that we as a community can all work towards assisting you with.
May Dea bless you. Blessed is She. Sorella (Sister) Sophia Ruth

David, thank you. That is exactly the kind of thing that will allow me to prepare a strong case for the orphan license.
Philemon, that is an excellent suggestion. I have not been in direct contact with the FoI yet, but it is on my to-do list.
Ruth, if you have a ToC for the issues we are missing, then it may just work to request single articles as you say, since that should be within permissible copyright usage. I simply haven't been able to do that without knowing the titles and page numbers to ask for.
David and Ruth, would you both be willing to scan/photograph all the TCA material you both have and upload that to, say, a common Dropbox repository? I could take it from there, transcribe the text, set the original images into the new text document, and produce a master PDF out of that, to which material from the missing issues can be added once we obtain it.

Sister Ruth,
Thank you very much for sharing that detailed listing. With information like that, we can make appropriate requests to the relevant libraries. Perhaps you would like to gather issue three, and I will work on five? If we each spread our requests among the various libraries holding copies, we should avoid tripping alarm bells!
Dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/) is a popular free online file sharing service, which I mentioned only because it is commonly used and makes access by multiple users to a common file repository very easy (as opposed to emailing files back and forth and each of us having to keep track of what the other does and does not have). If you have something similar you prefer to use, that's fine by me. We could do it as a shared Google Drive folder, for example, also.
I am very excited about this project; hopefully David will be willing to kick in his issues as well. He may already have partly done this amongst all the material he posted to the old Deanic Discussions group; I just don't have a ToC to know which issues each of those articles came from.

PS Thank you for also inadvertently resolving a quandary I had about dating The Legend of the Sun. It's very important for establishing original text in some sections of the Scriptures.

David,
I quite understand. While it would be nice to have higher resolution scans for the graphics, I have little trouble reading the text from your previous scans for transcription purposes, so please do not worry for the time being about redoing the pages you already posted elsewhere. I can roundd those up and collate them if you or Sister Ruth send me the ToCs.

Hello David, I had to search for ToC as I too did not know what it meant. ToC is the Table of contents found at the beginning of a book or document.

Glenn, I would like to respond to something in your original post. Like you, I dislike the pessimism of the Traditionalists. The Bible encourages us to think of history as developing in a positive direction, toward a manifestation of heaven on earth. Both Judaism and mainline Christianity have that expectation about history, and indeed, it appears to be developing in that way (read Pinker's Better Angels of Our Nature), toward less violence and more human rights. At the same time, I appreciate what the Feminine Universe says about the historical cycle, because ancient literature seems more sophisticated and spiritual than the art that followed it. What compares to The Odyssey? Genesis? So, I'm conflicted (as I think you are). Father Kevin, I am sorry for taking so long to get back to you regarding your post. I had originally planned to not only respond to your comments but to write a summarization of some of my generally negative responses to my recent reading of Rene Guenon's book "The Crisis of the Modern World." However now I have decided not to do this. After all even though the author of The Feminine Universe the primary philosophic work of the Aristasian community is clearly deeply indebted to Guenon's work, the Aristasian work differs in some significant ways for Guenon's work. Thus it would make much more sense for me to reread The Feminine Universe than to get into some sort of long discussion on Guenon's book. Now regarding your post, I am not as optimistic as you are regarding the direction that the human race is going at this time in its history. However I do understand as do you that a very strong theme exists in the Bible that God will redeem the world in righteousness, justice, and peace. Now of course this event is often seen as occurring after an major apocalyptic war and series of disasters but the after these in some matter God will redeem the earth and the cosmos. And this inspires what ever hope that I do have. When I converted to Deanism, the nature of the conversion was never one in which I had made some sort of determination that the Bible, Christianity, Judaism and Islam were transformed in my mind into enemy faiths from which I could never learn. On the contrary I still find much within them which inspire me in many ways. The fact that I see Dea as feminine as Lady, Empress, and Queen does not change that fact. One particular fact about the Bible and in fact most of the Near Eastern and the Egyptian religions is that within any of these religions is the material world itself, is manifestation itself seen as being some sort of decline from devine perfection. God created and it was good. Of course all of these religions believed that flaws existed in creation, humans and all other things die, sin exists, and the world is not perfect and is hard in certain ways. But still creation is good. It can be argued that the Filianic mythos actually mirrors this idea in many ways. Within it the earlier creation is all viewed as silvery beautiful. And then even after the event with the snake it beautiful only not as beautiful. It is also evident that the Dark places exist and the realm of Irkulla the supreme dark place exists. Even then it does not appear to me that the creation story within the scriptures sees manifestation, matter as inevitably a negativity. What is clear to me is that Guenon's view which sees matter, and multiplicity negatively and a vision of cosmic time cycles which enviably see time as declining from a state of perfection to a state of loathsome decline does seem to see the material world very negatively. Furthermore I find that I can relate much more with the Biblical vision in which the poor and oppressed will be freed and the oppressor shall be brought low even if I do not particularly see this happening in the real world. I still think it may but obviously not in my life time. I certainly do not relate to Guenon's vision of an authoritarian and hierarchical world ruled by castes of priests and warriors in which everyone must stay in his place or else. Anyway Kevin thanks for the response? Glenn

Please note I have disengaged from the primary discussion here regarding the project of publishing an edition of The Coming Age and other Madrian materials because I simply have little more to contribute. I think the discussion here has been going fine and it looks to me that a lot of work is being accomplished.
Glenn.
A question. Race, did you ever get the information that you requested regarding the Jennifer / Sister Angelina connection?
